Q- I am coming from out of the area, where should I stay?
A-  Homer is located 20 minutes from the bustling community of Champaign/Urbana.  We are proud to work partner with 2 different hotels to provide fantastic rates for attendees!

Eastland Suites is conveniently located just off Highway 74 in Urbana, Eastland Suites Hotel and Conference Center is the perfect spot for motor coaches and group tours. Combining comfort and convenience, this property offers noteworthy motor coach packages and competitive group-friendly rates.

The Hilton Garden Inn Champaign-Urbana is a modern conference hotel in south Champaign. Q- Can I purchase VIP passes in advance?

Q- What should I bring?
A-  Your Family, your friends, a good lawn chair, picnic blanket, sunscreen and most importantly an open mind to the plethora of tasting sensations.

Q- What is available on site?

A- ATM at the Bank, Experienced EMT's manning First Aid Tent, ADA restroom facilities, Bicycle parking, Shuttle service to and from satellite parking, shaded picnic areas, bicycle rental by Neutral Cycle!

Q- Can I bring my pet?
A- Yes!  But please keep him/her on a leash and pick up the tootsies.

Q- Do I need to purchase a ticket?
A- No, the festival is “FREE” to the public.  Tasting tickets are $4 for a sheet of 10 tickets, unlimited tasting passes are $15, and VIP passes are $20

Q- Do you need volunteers?
A- Yes, we have plenty of great opportunities to get involved. If you or your group would like to volunteer or help with this years festival please click here for more information!

Q- Will the event be cancelled if it rains?
A- NO WAY! What kind of diehard soda freaks would cancel due to rain?  All efforts are made to ensure that the show will go on as long as it is safe for our guests and the performers. Homer Soda Fest is rain or shine, be prepared for extremes such as heat, wind, or rain.  IF the weather is dangerous, we will shut down the event during the danger and will reopen when it passes (if the danger is after 5pm, we might have to shut down early).

Q- Can I take pictures at the event?
A- Yes, photography is allowed and we would love you to share your great photos with us on Facebook.

Q- Can I video record the performances and the event?
A- Yes, in fact we encourage it share your video's with us on Facebook.

Q- How do I apply to be a vendor or have a booth at the festival?
A- Applications are online and are open for submissions. Click Here for info on becoming a Vendor

Q- Is there parking close to the festival?
A- Yes there is plenty of free parking close to the festival. During the festival there is no parking permitted on posted areas of the detour route (you WILL be towed if parked here). Parking (see festival guide) is also available within easy walking distance of the festival, as well as free shuttling to and from the satellite parking areas.

Q- Are there ATM’s at the Festival?
A- ATM is located at the Homer Prospect Bank.

Q- What other common sense policies are there?
A- Dispose of trash in designated receptacles, No distribution of commercial advertisements, Obey all federal, state and Village of Homer laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, Do not enter nonpublic areas, i.e. offices, storage, vendor booths, “performers only” areas, Respect property, Don’t take, deface, degrade, damage or destroy property, Don’t disrupt or interfere with festival operations, No physical or verbal harassment or abuse allowed, Obey directions of festival management team and its authorized contractors.
